The Nation's Weather for Friday, October 14, 2022
_____
NATIONAL SUMMARY
As a cold front slows its forward progress, rain will linger
in Maine as well as Cape Cod tomorrow. In the chilly air
behind the front, a mix of rain and snow showers will affect
northern Minnesota, northern Wisconsin, the Upper Peninsula
of Michigan and northern Lower Michigan. Central Lower
Michigan may also have a spotty shower or two, but
temperatures should be just high enough for precipitation to
fall in the form of rain. A breezy to windy day is expected
from eastern Montana and the Dakotas through Nebraska,
northern Kansas, Iowa, Illinois, Indiana and Ohio. A few
very light showers could dampen western North Dakota and
central and southeastern South Dakota in the morning before
moving into Iowa in the afternoon. A spotty thunderstorm
could rumble in far South Texas and southeastern Florida.
