NATIONAL SUMMARY
Thunderstorms with locally heavy rain will drench southern
portions of Indiana and Ohio and northern Kentucky tomorrow.
Rain is not expected to be as heavy, but showers and
thunderstorms are likely elsewhere in the Ohio Valley and
Tennessee Valley as well. Much of the Southeast will also
have thunderstorms, especially in the Carolinas and northern
and central Georgia. Farther north, thundershowers will
dampen much of Maine. The northern part of the state could
have a few morning showers, whereas showers and
thunderstorms could occur anywhere in Maine during the
afternoon. Late-afternoon thunderstorms may be locally
strong in central and northeastern Montana. Above-normal
temperatures will bake the Desert Southwest and southern
Plains.
