NATIONAL SUMMARY
Monsoon thunderstorms can cause flash flooding in western
and central Colorado, northwestern New Mexico and far
northeastern Arizona tomorrow. Thundershowers could make it
as far north as southeastern Wyoming, although generally
lower rainfall amounts are expected. A corridor of afternoon
thunderstorms will be from southern Oklahoma and North Texas
east-southeastward to southwestern Alabama, but they will be
spotty. More widespread afternoon thunderstorms are forecast
in much of the Florida Peninsula. Showers will dampen much
of the Pacific Northwest, with embedded thunder in a zone
from north-central California through the mountains of
Oregon and northern Idaho. A few showers are likely in
upstate New York and interior New England, with an area of
steadier rain in northern portions of Vermont.
