NATIONAL SUMMARY
As a front continues eastward tomorrow, showers will
continue along the Northeast coast before eventually moving
offshore. Farther west, occasional light rain will fall in
the Midwest. In the mid-Atlantic and much of the Southeast,
thunderstorms will develop during the late morning and into
the afternoon and evening. Widespread severe weather is not
expected, but storms can produce heavy rain and ponding of
water on roadways. A thunderstorm or two may also develop in
the southern High Plains, however most locations will stay
dry. Extreme heat will continue across much of Texas, with
highs reaching up to 110 along the Rio Grande. In central
and southern portions of the state, daily record highs may
be set.
