NATIONAL SUMMARY
Thunderstorms will rumble through much of the Northeast
tomorrow. Some storms in eastern New England could produce
flooding downpours, hail and damaging wind gusts during the
afternoon hours. Late-day thunderstorms with local flash
flooding, hail and damaging wind gusts can develop in
southwestern North Dakota and western South Dakota. These
storms are expected to move eastward overnight through
central and eastern South Dakota, north-central and
northeastern Nebraska, western Minnesota and northwestern
Iowa. An area of steady rain will move from northern
Minnesota into northern Wisconsin throughout the day. A
potent system with wind, rain and high-elevation snow will
move ashore in Oregon. Elsewhere, thunderstorms are forecast
in the central and southern Florida Peninsula.
