The Nation's Weather for Tuesday, March 8, 2022
_____
NATIONAL SUMMARY
Tomorrow, a storm will bring snow and cold conditions to the
northern Rocky Mountains and northern Plains, which can
cause slippery travel, particularly across parts of western
Montana. To the west of this, showers are expected in
Washington and Oregon. A bit of snow is forecast to dip into
the Upper Midwest and western Great Lakes as well, while
morning snow showers and flurries occur across portions of
the interior Northeast as colder air moves in. In the
Southeast, rain, showers and thunderstorms are expected to
impact the Gulf Coast states, and can be particularly heavy
from Louisiana to Alabama as cooler air clashes with warmth
and humidity. Elsewhere will be largely dry with cool to
cold conditions across the Southwest.
