NATIONAL SUMMARY
A large storm will continue across the West tomorrow,
bringing rain and mountain snow to the Northwest and
California. Rain and snow will spread into Montana, Idaho
and Nevada through the day. Meanwhile, another storm will
linger over the Northeast, continuing to bring spotty
showers from the central Appalachians to New England. Rain
can mix with snow at times, mainly in the higher elevations
of Pennsylvania, Massachusetts, Vermont, New Hampshire and
Maine. Elsewhere across the country, much of the central and
southern regions will remain dry and mild. The exception
will be in the far northern Plains, where snow can move into
North Dakota and northern Minnesota at night. Another cold
night is in store for the Southeast, with frost expected
from Alabama to North Carolina.
