A 14-year-old girl was wounded in an accidental shooting Tuesday afternoon, but her injuries are not considered life-threatening, authorities said.
Sheriff Wally Jones said the teenager was wounded at a residence on River Road North early Tuesday afternoon when a bullet from a .45-caliber long Colt handgun grazed her head.
