A Catholic priest who is involved with the Our Lady of Hope retreat center in Chatawa died in a single-vehicle accident near Osyka Wednesday afternoon.
Father Mark Beard was southbound when his car left the road, hit an embankment and overturned, Coroner Wally Jones said.
