S. Pike boys powerlifting captures 19th South-State title

The widely known South Pike boys powerlifting team captured its 19th South-State powerlifting championship on Saturday in Magnolia.

The team will now turn its focus to the 4A State powerlifting meet later this month in Jackson at the Mississippi Coliseum, where the Eagles will compete for a state title.

Some deer skulls reveal curious teeth

At the time of this writing I am in the process of finishing up what should be my last skull mount for the 2025-2026 deer season.
For the last 25 years, when not abroad serving my country by supporting our troops behind enemy lines, I have been taking in various trophy animal heads, especially whitetail buck deer, for skull mounting.
