Pike County Coroner David Rashad Taylor spoke to the McComb Rotary Club last Wednesday about everything from his height — the former basketball and football player is 6 feet, 9 inches tall — to his duties involving death investigations and work with the state medical examiner's office. Taylor said there were 533 deaths in Pike County in 2025, including 12 overdoses from fentanyl. He is pictured with Rotary president Becky Buie.
