The Episcopal Church of the Mediator-Redeemer in Pike County will be in charge of statewide fundraising for the trips in 2027-28. Southern Miss. Titans registration set for Friday

The Southern Mississippi Titans youth football program will be hosting its registration Friday at East McComb Park.

Sign-ups are available from 5:30-8 p.m., with the league being open to all kids ages 4-12.

Red tape in Mississippi’s food assistance program could cost taxpayers $120 million

If state lawmakers don’t act soon, Mississippi will pay at least an additional $120 million a year to run its food assistance program. That’s because of a 2017 state law that generated more paperwork for social safety net programs.
