GREENWOOD, Miss. -- Dia Chawla’s high school counselor, Gearldine DeLoach, observed that Chawla tends to set goals and concentrate on reaching them.
“She is a hard worker, and she is very focused. It’s not just handed to her,” DeLoach said.
