Prospective students toured Hinds Community College’s Nursing and Allied Health Center and received information about the health related programs during the college’s nursing and allied health showcase at its Jackson campus on Sept. 8.

Lucedale wood pellet plant will start production in 2022

A new wood pellet plant in Lucedale will be ramping up production in the first half of 2022.
Enviva Biomass spokeswoman Maria Moreno told the Northside Sun that the new plant is still under construction and that the company has already hired 87 of the 90 workers planned for the plant.
