McComb's ShiNiece Bell officially signed with Northeast Mississippi Community College to further her basketball career Wednesday.
Bell was a force for the Lady Tigers in the paint all season long, but her head coach points at her mental attributes as what made her such a standout player.
"I am incredibly proud of ShiNiece for earning a basketball scholarship to Northeast," McComb head coach Alisha Chambers said. "She’s worked relentlessly on and off the court to get to this point. Her presence in the paint, her toughness, and unselfishness was needed this season, but even more impressive was her leadership and dedication she brought to the program. She’s earned every bit of this opportunity, and I can’t wait to see what she does at Northeast."
Bell joins a Northeast program that is coming off a 17-13 season (9-5 MACCC).
