The McComb Pro-Am Classic at Quail Hollow Golf Club, an event put on by the Emerald Coast Tour, came to its conclusion Friday.
Jacob Harper, a Valley, Ala., native, shot rounds of 65, 69 and 65 to finish at 199 for the week. That mark was good enough to narrowly beat Will McFadden out of Mobile, Ala., who shot a 201 over the course of three days.
Michael Arnaud took home third place honors, as the Covington, La., product shot a 205. Former PGA Tour player and Baton Rouge native Andrew Loupe rounded out the top four with a 207 score.
Joseph Dendy was the highest-ranking Mississippi representative, as the Jackson resident placed tied for fifth with a 209.
Harper took home $11,000 for winning first place. McFadden pocketed $2,500, while Arnaud and Loupe earned $1,800 and $1,200 respectively.
This was the sixth Emerald Coast event that Harper had won this year, and he also took home first place honors in last Wednesday’s Pro Am competition alongside Ted Tullos, Aaron Tullos and Clark Lovett. The team shot a 57 as a group.
This was the third-straight year that Quail Hollow hosted an event with the Emerald Coast Tour. The first-place prize pot expanded from $10,000 to $11,000 in 2024.
