Dr. Patrick Cooper, the former McComb School District superintendent, has died, according to friends, former co-workers and social media notices.
Cooper led McComb schools for 10 years, from 1997-2007. He left to run an early childhood learning foundation in New Orleans, and after that was school superintendent in Lafayette, La.
