McComb’s city board is having a hard time meeting this week.
Selectmen failed to make a quorum for their board meeting that was scheduled for Wednesday morning.
That meeting had been scheduled after city officials delayed the regular meeting time of 5:30 p.m. Tuesday over concerns about the weather.
Selectmen Shawn Williams and Michael Cameron were both present, but at least three selectmen must attend in order for the board to establish a quorum.
Not present were selectmen Devante Johnson, Ted Tullos, Donovan Hill and Ronnie Brock.
Johnson said he unsuccessfully attempted to attend the meeting by phone after Mayor Quordiniah Lockley declared the lack of quorum.
Lockley said the phone lines were available for selectmen to call into the meeting.
Lockley said the meeting would be rescheduled, but did not report a new day and time for the meeting as of Wednesday afternoon.
