McComb's Kroger and CVS stores are closing in McComb effective Jan. 29, when their current leases expire.
Robert Lang, Vice President of Real Estate for Kamin Realty, which owns the Delaware Shopping Center in which the stores are located, confirmed the closures Wednesday morning.
Kroger manager Paul Carr said employees learned of the closure on Tuesday. He dd not have an exact number of employees who would be affected but said the company would likely offer them jobs at other locations.
Lang said his company is recruiting new tenants for the spaces and some activity could be expected in the first quarter of 2022.
