McComb police have made an arrest in the Saturday shooting death of a man in Burglund.
Fredrick Smith, 31, was shot near the corner of Dyson and St. Augustine streets around noon.
Witnesses identified Bryant Turner, 36, as the gunman, and police located him and arrested him without incident, Chief Detective Victoria Carter said.
Smith went by private vehicle to Southwest Mississippi Regional Medical Center, where Coroner Wally Jones said he died around 6 p.m.
