Shades of Beauty vendors’ showcase and barbers’ battle will be 1 to 7 p.m. Sunday at McComb Mill, 529 Broadway.
Admission is free to the public. There will be live entertainment including a dance team, plus food, shopping and raffles.
Vendors include hair stylists, nail artists, make-up, food, jewelry, facials and T-shirts.
The barber’s battle will feature barbers from all over — New Orleans, the Gulf Coast, Baton Rouge — who will bring their own models and compete for who can cut the best hair, said organizer Ramona Patterson.
Patterson does nails, hair and make-up for her business, Mo Unlimited, and works at Lovely Nails on Delaware Avenue. She will also celebrate her birthday at the event.
