Hats off to everyone who had a part in making the Southwest Mississippi Community College 2023 Christmas Stage Band show a success.
My husband and I attended the performance at 7 p.m. Friday. It was a full house. The atmosphere was friendly and happy — people smiling, eating popcorn, excited and seeing friends and relatives. Best of all, the show was free!
By the time this letter is printed, the shows will be over. Maybe they were recorded, but it’s nothing like being at the performance.
The students really made it a Christmas celebration. The show was awesome. The band was so amazing, too.
I laughed, cried, prayed and cheered throughout the show. There was never a dull moment.
It was also Christ-centered. Jesus Christ was not left out.
If you missed it, I would like to encourage you to make plans to attend the spring show. You won’t be disappointed. It is a great family outing. Clean and decent fun.
Thank you again to all those, especially the students, who put Christmas cheer in my heart. The Stage Band show was definitely enjoyable. It was superb!
