During her two years in Summit, Southwest Lady Bear Kara Beth Addison has had many accomplishments, both athletically and academically.
And now she can add another, as she has earned a College Sports Communicators Academic All-American Second-Team honor.
Addison – a Pre-Kinesiology major who maintained a 4.0 GPA during her time at Southwest – also got it done on the court.
After putting together a strong freshman campaign during the 2023-24 season averaging 9.5 points and 5.6 rebounds per game, she increased both totals last season to 15.8 points and 8.3 rebounds per game. Her points per game total from last season was the second-highest in the MACCC Conference.
