The Southwest Medical Foundation’s Operation fundraiser — based on the classic surgery-oriented board game — returns April 9.
Operation Celebration: Games for a Cause will be held from 6–9 p.m. at The Mill in McComb. Tickets are $50 each and can be purchased at The Flower Nook, PJ’s Coffee, from any foundation board member or the St. Luke Foundation Office by calling Leanne Jenkins at 601-248-2666.
Each ticket includes unlimited food and beverages, including beer and wine.
Activities include a life-size Operation game, Jenga, Cornhole, silent auction, split the pot raffle, bourbon drawdown and wine pull.
Additionally, the foundation will present its Healthcare Hero awards.
Operation helps the foundation support patient care, staff education and meet critical equipment needs at the hospital.
“Every dollar raised goes back into improving the health and well-being of our community,” hospital spokesperson Lexis Leggett said. “The Foundation’s most recent contribution funded upgrades to the hospital café, including a new salad bar, updated seating area and a grab-and-go cooler, creating a more comfortable, convenient space for both visitors and staff.”
Event and table sponsorships are available. Event sponsorships include the $250 Steady Hands sponsor, the $500 Critical Care sponsor and the $1,000 Life Saver sponsor.
Table sponsorships include the $600 Clean Cut sponsor and the $1,500 Legacy Lifeline sponsor.
