County health department offices in Southwest Mississippi — with the exception of Pike County — will be open for walk-in immunization clinics for school registration over the summer.
The clinics are for incoming kindergarten and seventh-grade students, both of whom have required vaccinations before starting school in the fall.
Parents must provide the school with a Certificate of Immunization Compliance. College students can also receive vaccinations.
Without insurance, the fee is $10 per shot for school children and $20 for college students.
Clinic hours are 8-11:30 a.m. and 1-4:30 p.m. on designated days.
