Voters return to polls Tuesday for primary runoffs

Voters will return to the polls Tuesday to decide two runoff elections in Pike County.
Polls will be open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
On the Democratic primary ballot, voters in District 1 will choose between incumbent Tazwell Bowsky and challenger Justin Lofton in the supervisor’s race.

Witherspoon, Norwood: No endorsements in District 1

Magnolia Mayor Tammy Witherspoon said she and Sonja Norwood Wednesday that she’s not endorsing anyone in the District 1 supervisor’s runoff.
Witherspoon said she initially supported Devante Johnson, the third-place finisher among incumbent Tazwell Bowsky and challenger Justin Lofton in the Aug. 8 primary.
