Former McComb selectman Devante Johnson has been chosen to lead Pike County’s Democratic party.
Johnson’s appointment became effective Dec. 18.
Johnson, 27, replaces outgoing chair, Mickell McDowell, who stepped down after November’s general election.
Johnson said he is more than ready for the challenge.
