1 killed, others wounded in shootings

A McComb man is dead and several other people have been wounded in recent shootings in the city.
Quentin Gayden was shot near North Cherry Street and Avenue F around 5:20 p.m. Thursday, Pike County Coroner Wally Jones said.
Gayden died at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson on Sunday.
