The trial against a man accused of gunning down a handyman at a Magnolia apartment complex three years ago began Tuesday in Pike County Circuit Court.
Sedric Elzie is charged with first-degree murder in the Feb. 23, 2022, shooting death of DeShautrail Cole at Sunshine Apartments on McKay Road in Magnolia.
