Billionaire investor and Berkshire Hathaway chairman Warren Buffet knows a thing or two about business, and Chuck Paulk hopes that will rub off on his agency, Cabin & Creek Real Estate in Summit, now that it has joined Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices.
The agency will now operate as Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Cabin & Creek Real Estate.

Cabin & Creek held a reception Thursday celebrating the new affiliation with Berkshire Hathaway.
“It is a huge moment for us and certainly a huge moment for my sales team here today,” Paulk said at the event sponsored by the Pike County Chamber of Commerce. “As a business owner, you’re always trying to figure out a way to grow your business, have a better product, take care of your clients, your customers better, give your employees opportunities to be successful. God delivered Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices to me. We talked. I looked under the hood at what they had to offer. We talked with my producers and it was a no-brainer.

Paulk said the agency’s administrative manager Adrianne Weekley, who also is a Realtor, “has completely managed a 60-day transition period from the way we used to do business to the way Warren Buffett wants us to do business, which is dramatically different.”
Berkshire Hathaway officials said they took note of Cabin & Creeks sales growth in its 17 years of existence, noting that annual sales increased nearly tenfold in less than eight years.
