Paul Temple, 93, longtime resident of the Busy Corner community near Gloster, passed away Sept. 13, 2021.
Visitation is 9 a.m. today until services at 11 at Brown Funeral Home with Bro. Ellis Hollingsworth officiating. Burial is in Mount Pleasant Memorial Cemetery.
Mr. Paul was born Sept. 3, 1928, the son of the late Charlie Anderson Temple and Adelia Nettles Temple.
He was veteran of the U.S. Army and worked at the paper mill in Natchez.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife of 69 years, Mary Elaine Temple; four brothers, James Temple, Henry Temple, Edward Temple and Ernest Temple; and two sisters, Annie Mae Lebouef and Florine Temple.
He is survived by two daughters, Arie Maniscalco and Shirley Temple; two sons, Charles Temple and Mary, and Jeff Temple and Gary; 11 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and nine great-great-grandchildren; and lifelong friend, David Jackson.
Pallbearers are Wayne Temple, Terry Temple, Matthew Wilkerson, Craig Forman, Anthony Nations and Daryl Temple.
