Brandy Magnitsky Floyd, 39, passed away Sept. 14, 2021, at Forrest General Hospital in Hattiesburg.
Visitation is 11 a.m. Saturday at Brown Funeral Home in Gloster until time services there at 2 p.m. The Rev. Brad Eubank will officiate. Burial will follow in Hopewell Cemetery, Crosby.
She was a registered nurse who was pursuing her nurse practitioner degree while working as the clinical director of Collaborative Health and Rehab Services Inc. Nursing was her life. She was very compassionate, but more than that, she was passionate about the calling God placed on her life to be in health care. Brandy loved her family, her Petal First Baptist Church family, and, above all, she loved the Lord.
She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents and a stepdaughter, Samantha Jolene Floyd.
She is survived by her husband, Kevin Floyd; children, Adrienne Mercer (Nick), Dominick Bray and Luke Bray; stepchildren Roslynn Floyd (Matthew), Robert Floyd and John Floyd: father, Bradley Magnitsky: mother and stepfather, Rene and Carl Hornbeak; maternal grandparents, Alton and Carolyn McGuffee; sister, Anna Sharp (Chris); father- and mother-in-law, Jimmy and Cynthia Day; a brother-in-law, three sisters-in-law and numerous nieces and nephews whom she loved.
