Anna Debiasi Johnston, 81, of McComb passed away Sept. 9, 2021, at Camellia Estates in McComb.
Services were 11 a.m. Monday at Hartman-Jones Funeral Home. Burial followed at Adams United Methodist Church Cemetery in Summit. The Rev. Alton Foster officiated.
Mrs. Johnston was born Jan. 9, 1940, in Trento, Italy.
She came to America in September 1971 to marry the love of her life, Henry Johnston. They married on Sept. 23, 1971, at Centenary United Methodist Church. Mrs. Johnston was granted American citizenship on May 1, 1980.
She was a very loving, caring, giving but feisty Italian woman. She always had a passion for giving and helping others.
Mrs. Johnston was a member of St. Alphonsus Catholic Church where she sang in the choir. She was also a member of the McComb Garden Club, McComb Arts Council and also served as a Pink Lady for Southwest Mississippi Regional Medical Center.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Survivors include her husband of 50 years, Henry Johnston of McComb; one stepson, Paul Johnston of Wallasey, England; three grandchildren, Amy Farley, Robert Johnston and Sophie Johnston; and one very special friend, Carol Hardin of McComb.
