Editorial: Survey confirms ID no big deal

The survey released last week of Mississippi voters should tamp down some of the hyperbole over the allegedly negative impact of voter ID in this state.

The poll found that among voters who turned out for the general election last month, more than 98 percent had one of the eight forms of photo ID permitted in the state law now seeking approval from the U.S. Justice Department.
