Hilton M. Hollingsworth, 78, of Liberty passed away June 9, 2019, at Franklin Memorial Hospital in Meadville.

Visitation is 9 a.m. Thursday until services at 11 at Mount Pleasant Baptist Church with the Rev. Blaine Stafford and Bro. Ellis Hollingsworth officiating. Burial will follow at Mount Pleasant Memorial Cemetery, officiated by the Rev. Danny Cook. Brown Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Hollingsworth was born July 10, 1940, in Amite County, the son of the late Clarence and Dossie Wilkinson Hollingsworth.

Hilton was supervisor at William Carter Co. in Centreville for 30 years. He was a member of Mount Pleasant Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, E.O. “Skeet” Hollingsworth; and one sister, Idell Steele.

He is survived by his wife, Pauline Wall Hollingsworth; his son, Robbie Hollings-worth and wife Jessica; and two grandchildren, Claire and Mac Hollingsworth.

Pallbearers are Dewayne Steele, Al Jones, Adam Sterling, Jason Knight, Little Les Graves and Brian Sterling.

Honorary pallbearers are Murry Toney, Billy Coleman, Dale Sterling, Hansel Knight and Les Graves.
