Filling kettles

Philip and Seth Russell ring the bell for the Salvation Army outside Kroger in McComb on Wednesday as part of a volunteer effort by McComb First Baptist Church. The Salvation Army’s red kettle campaign, its biggest fundraiser of the year, continues through Christmas Eve. Kettles will also be located at McComb Market and Walmart in McComb, Piggly Wiggly in Summit and Sunflower in Magnolia. Salvation Army officials say volunteer bell ringers are needed. To volunteer, call 601-551-6648 or 601-462-5271.
