Judged honorable

Danny and Shari Creel hold a plaque presented to them in memory of her father, the late Pike County Justice Court Judge Jack Blailock, who died Jan. 26 at age 91. Presenting the plaque were county supervisors, from left, Jake Gazzo, Sam Hall, Robert Accardo, Lee Fortenberry and Tazwell Bowsky. Mr. Blailock spent 20 years in the Navy, served as judge for nine years, was a deacon at New Heights Baptist Church and a member of the Summit Rotary Club and the Pike County Fair Board.
