An Amite County woman who was the subject of a Silver Alert just over a week ago is missing again, the Mississippi  Department of Public Safety reported.

Gwendolyn Lea Washington, 60, of Liberty, 5-foot-8, 118-pound black female with short gray hair and brown eyes, was headed to a doctor’s appointment in Hattiesburg on Friday and did not show.

She was driving a silver Nissan Rogue from Enterprise Rent-a-Car with tag number JK2NO1F1.

A week earlier, she was reported missing when she was headed to Weathersby Lane in Liberty and did not arrive.

She was last seen then in the vicinity of Highway 61 just north of Woodville. She was eventually found in New Orleans, Amite County Sheriff Tim Wroten said last week.
