Posted: Thursday, October 18, 2012 2:00 pm

Jubilant McComb officials announced Wednesday that the city received a $100,000 Entergy grant to revitalize the area around the depot and breathe life into a place the mayor said “once was the very heart of the city.”

The city won the inaugural $100,000 Mississippi Makeover Grant from Entergy Mississippi, officials announced in a ceremony at the downtown Depot Pavilion.

What a wast of money. But, hey, it is more free money for Rawlings and company that did not come out of my pocket.
