A firefighter's farewell

McComb firefighter Matthew Alexander salutes with other firefighters as the funeral procession for former firefighter Douglas Glass passes beneath the Delaware Avenue overpass en route from Sharkey Funeral home in Summit to Line Creek Baptist Church in Kentwood, La., on Monday afternoon. Glass, a resident of Osyka, was killed in a wreck early Friday morning in St. Helena Parish, La., when his truck struck a tree limb that was hanging across Highway 38 while he was on his way to work at the Zachary (La.)
